LOCAL ADMIN PROFESSIONAL CHAPTER RECEIVE IL DIVISION PRESIDENTIAL AWARD
(April 25, 2007) Congratulations to the local Tri-County Chapter of the International Association of the Administrative Professionals for being the recipient of the 2006-2007 Illinois Division Presidential award this past weekend at IAAP Illinois Division Annual meeting held in Oakbrook, Illinois.
The award was presented to an Illinois chapter with more than 30 members and who had accomplishments in education, networking, membership and empowerment. Tri-County Chapter competed with 22 other IAAP Chapters in Illinois and many with over 100 members.
IAAP is an international organization with over 600 chapters and 40,000 members and affiliates worldwide to promote excellence. Its members include administrative assistants, executive secretaries, office coordinators, information specialists, and related administrative professionals.
The Tri-County chapter includes members employed at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, Children's Hospital of Illinois, University of Illinois College of Medicine, CDO Distribution/G&D Transportation, Inc., Methodist Medical Center, State Farm Insurance Company, Clifton Gunderson, LLP, Darlatone, WinPak Heat & Seal Corporation, Illinois Eye Center, Midstate College, Hallmark, Lutheran Hillside Village, S.J. Grant & Associates, Radisson Hotel, City of Peoria, TMI, and Caterpillar Inc.
